Albertine Styles Seventh Wonderland

Want to know how to take your summer look into fall?  West Village boutique, Albertine, posted a video featuring Seventh Wonderland on their blog.  The idea of the video was a "how-to" on taking summer pieces and transitioning them into fall.

In the video, stylists, Charlotte and Allison uses the Seventh Wonderland 7PM One Piece, pants from Lover, and jewelry from A. Ward to pull the complete look together.  This video shows a NY store's interpretation of taking swimwear and styling it as ready-to-wear.  Watch and learn...

Sylvie, Sylvie Everywhere...

Jewelry designer, Sylvie Markovina, has been receiving some great media coverage this past month.  With its rustic design that pays homage to an ancient Mexican civilization, Sylvie Markovina has become known for its iconic images translated into jewelry.  People with all various styles tend to love Sylvie Markovina all the same, and with its ability to make a girl stand out from everyone else at a party, who wouldn't?

The Timeout NY Sept. 23rd - 29th issue features the
Sylvie Markovina "Laneway Ring" in the Trend Watch story here.

The wonderful creators of bleachblack.com stopped by our office during NYFW and snapped a few shots of Sylvie Markovina.  So, what was their favorite piece?  The 5 piece "Laneway Ring" of course, as seen on Kim Kardashian earlier this summer.  Check out the feature for yourself...

The Melt Team Does Fashion's Night Out

Anyone who was anyone in NYC came out for Fashion's Night Out this past Friday.  Since the Melt offices are located in the heart of Soho, we decided to mosey around the neighborhood and find the best hotspots.  Little did we know what we were in for...

Charlie and MJ excited about being at Marni or their balloons?
The balloons.

Friday night in Soho looked more like Saturday afternoon.
The streets were swarmed with the fashionably-clad desperate
for a glimpse of celebrities and designers.

Mel, MJ, and friends stop by Marc Jacobs, one of the hottest stops for FNO.

We found a guy carrying around a briefcase wired
as a boombox and blasting Michael Jackson.
Like moths to a flame, we pause for a brief dance party.

We managed to make it through the entire
night in heels.  What a couple of troopers.

Current Events: Daily Candy Showcases Sylvie Markovina

Daily Candy London recognized Sylvie Markovina for her rustic, "hard as nails" look.  Sylvie's "Coin Ring" in her Lost Highway SS2011 collection is guaranteed to give any girl an edgy vibe.  Click here to see Daily Candy's review!

Already getting celebrity acclaim from the likes of La Roux's lead singer, Elly Jackson and even Kim Kardashian, we give Sylvie major credit for her bold, statement pieces.
